ŞAM Casting finds people, ŞAM LAB develops them, ŞAM Talents represents them by contract. One ecosystem, three separate promises, free entry.

One person, one profile; the standing in each direction is marked separately. A status in one direction is never given by another: the next level comes only through selection and a signed document.

The open base
Registered people, 18+, all year round. The promise: we can invite you to castings, projects and open calls. Nothing more. The document: a consent to personal data. Free.

ŞAM LAB
The development programme
A seasonal cohort of up to 20 places: the programme, a mentor, practice on ŞAM projects, a showcase for producers. Selection once or twice a year, through a casting day. The document: a participation agreement (not an employment contract).

The agency
The professional roster and the New Faces line; representation only by contract. International is the agency’s channel for the market abroad: the English book «Actors from Kazakhstan», opened to producers by personal access.
We work for the person
Nine principles
We work for authors and talent: the name, the reputation and the rights of everyone connected with ŞAM are protected. The aim is to present actors from Kazakhstan to producers in Kazakhstan, the CIS and abroad, fast and reliably.

Registration is not residency, residency is not representation.
Each direction has its own promise. The next level comes only through selection and a signed document.

Entry is free.
The application, the casting, the photos, the video and a place in the book cost nothing. We never ask for money. The agency earns only the commission written in the contract; no hidden fees, no double commission.

We promise only what we can deliver.
No «guarantee», no «enrolment», no «official resident». There is «we can invite», «up to N places», «selection».

We write what we saw, not what we were told.
A skill goes into a profile only with proof; the level is set by the team. A figure appears only with its source.

A profile is the person’s consent.
No profile goes out before the person approves the final version. On request it is taken down within 48 hours.

Fair selection.
The criteria are public; every panel member scores before the discussion. Anyone not selected may ask for feedback and, with their consent, stays in the base.

Boundaries and safety.
The person sets their own boundaries: nudity, dangerous stunts, hair. Intimate scenes are filmed only with an intimacy coordinator. AI and digital doubles need a separate consent.

We disclose conflicts of interest.
On ŞAM’s own projects the agency commission is 0%, and ŞAM says its role in advance. A manager stands on the talent’s side, another person on the producer’s side.

The person is free.
Anyone can leave any direction. From the agency with 30 days’ notice; the rights stay as agreed.

What the site and the book may call a person
Four public names. «Resident» and «artist» appear only after a signed document.

- Selected into a cohort; a signed participation agreement.
- ŞAM LAB graduate
- Finished the programme; part of the alumni network.

- A signed representation contract. Without one, «Represented by» is never written.
For producers
From the brief to the set
One contact for everything; we answer within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday. A producer never receives a person’s phone, real age or address; the fee is named on request, after the chief producer confirms it.

The legal frame
Not one profile without consent
Two norms underneath: publishing and using a person’s image needs their consent (Civil Code, art. 145); personal data is collected and transferred abroad only with consent (Law No. 94-V on personal data). The final texts of the documents are prepared by ŞAM’s lawyer.
- 0118+. Only adults are taken into the base, ŞAM LAB and the book; the ID is checked on the casting day.
- 02Minimal data. Public: playing age, height, sizes, languages, skills, «18+ verified», a valid passport, the visa type. Internal only: the real age, the date of birth, the phone, the address, the e-mail, the passport details. Fees are never in the book.
- 03Consent first. Personal data is collected only with consent and goes abroad only with consent; a profile is published only after the person approves the final version.
- 04Withdrawal. Consent can be withdrawn in writing; the profile comes down within 48 hours. A PDF already sent to a producer cannot be recalled, and the consent says so honestly.
- 05Nothing borrowed. Every photo and video in the book is the person’s own; music is licensed; the self-tape texts are ours or in the public domain. AI and digital doubles only with a separate written consent.
- 06We never ask for money. This line stands on every form and every announcement. If someone asks for a fee in ŞAM’s name, write to info@shamstudios.kz.

We confirm the registration within a week. Your number:
