ŞAM is an independent cultural studio from Almaty. It began on 4 September 2022 as ŞAM Theatre, founded by actors Assan Mazhit and Yerkebulan Daiyrov with director Farhad Moldagali. The first premiere, No37, toured thirteen cities and was seen live by more than 80,000 people.

In four years ŞAM has grown into a full-cycle studio. The theatre stages works never seen in Kazakhstan before, in Kazakh. No37 became a feature film with its stage cast and, after Cannes 2026, is distributed worldwide by TVCO. Around the stage grew a music collective, a documentary series, a talent agency, production and event services, and a laboratory for the next generation.
